Two outstanding suspects turned themselves in months at what time a teenager was killed during a drug and gun transaction.

The initial incident took residence the afternoon of Oct. 29. Police were called to the 8300 prevented of Magnolia Drive in Jonesboro to investigate a inhabit shot. 

Before they could arrive, police said family members tried to take the victim, 15-year-old Jcori Butler, to a local hospital themselves.

The Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services intercepted the vehicle and caused Jcori to the trauma center in Atlanta. On Dec. 8, he died from his costs at Grady Hospital.

Investigators found that two groups of young farmland agreed to meet that day in October to sell and steal guns and drugs. During the transaction, a fight veteran out and Jcori was shot.

Aaron Bell III, 18, was charged with felony destroy and use of a communication device during the commission of a felony. Aaron Bell Jr., 47, was charged with tampering with evidence and possession of a weapon by a censured felon. Jacora Butler, 18, was charged with felony destroy and use of a communication device during the commission of a felony. Jailen Johnson, 20, was charged with felony murder and the use of a meaning device during the commission of a felony. A 17-year-old juvenile who was 16 during the incident was charged with felony destroy. A 15-year-old who was 15 at the time was also charged with felony murder.

Jacora and Jailen had outstanding warrants originated for their arrests after the other four suspects had been apprehended. Officials say the two turned themselves in to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office in January.

Investigators believe a 45-year-old man was trying to take first-rate of a broken window at the DeKalb County Jail to drop off items such illegal drugs, tobacco, cell phones, and other contraband to inmates.

Michael Anthony Dixon was charged with crossing a guaranteeing line with weapons, intoxicants, drugs without consent, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, and possession of cocaine with way to distribute.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says Dixon was paused just outside the facility while still across the guaranteeing line area. Deputies searched Dixon and found he was carrying a box cutter. A search of nearby brush revealed a hidden white bag.

Deputies say the bag arranged marijuana, Cocaine, loose tobacco, packs of cigarettes and lighters, cell phones and chargers/cords, jewelry, ear pods, hex keys, glue gel, sweets, and cooked chicken wings.

"Our 'Eyes in the Sky' succeeding continues to be effective this year, as we foil repositions by inmates and their co-conspirators on the outside to get illegal and potentially unsafe items inside the jail," says Chief Deputy Randy Akies. "The safety of the intended recipients and others in our tend and on our staff is threatened by this practice, and Sheriff Maddox has made it clear that it will not be arranged. Offenders will be prosecuted within the full extent of the law."

Dixon was booked into DeKalb County Jail. Online records demonstrate he was arrested in June 2006 on drug charges and had numerous parole or probation violations since.

According to Newkirk, 79% of Gen Zers don't eat meat at least one day a week, when 65% want to follow a more plant-based diet overall.

"Pigs, cows, and other animals commonly used for hot dogs are shining, sensitive individuals who feel pain and form strong bonds with others," Newkirk wrote when advocating for her recommendation.

She concluded her letter by stating the ultimate goal is for everyone to idea they now have various food options if they want to targeted a vegan diet – whether it be for ethical, environmental, health, religious or other reasons.

Abrams-Rivera, Kraft Heinz and Oscar Mayer have not yet responded to the offer.

Following a deadly 7.8 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks that devastated Turkey and Syria, rescuers continued to work tirelessly to find any victims aloof trapped in the rubble. 

The death toll rose to more than 35,000 in the weeksince the Feb. 6 quake. Tens of thousands have been left homeless. 

Organizations across the globe have already mobilized to send aid to both utters, but humanitarian groups warn that the earthquake will have a "long tail" — a wide blueprint of needs that will require donations for months, or even days, after the rescue and recovery missions end.

Red Crescent (Turkey and Syria)

The Red Crescent, which is part of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), provides emergency services, food, and medical aid to utters in crisis. 

The societies said 5,200 volunteers are mobilized on both sides of the touch, with the Turkish operation being more robust and better-equipped because of its longstanding program to abet Syrian refugees.

Candidates for Clayton County sheriff got a chance to talk nearby their plans if elected.

Four of the five candidates attended a forum Tuesday night at the Tabernacle of Praise Church. They answered questions from a panel, as well as from the audience.

Mickey Garber and more than a hundred others expressed up at the forum to find out which candidate for Clayton County sheriff will be best for the county.

"What would they do in law enforcement to make our lives better and safer," Garber demanded to know.

The candidates were expected a wide array of questions, including the safety of staff and inmates just a day at what time the medical examiner confirmed a detainee's death in November was ruled a homicide. They also discussed crime, conditions in the jail and irritable health.

"I would hire a crisis negotiation team, crisis intervention team they would come in and deal with the irritable illness," said Dwayne Fabian.

"I would develop a special board unit with officers trained in CIT and medical staff housed in the units," said Chris Storey.

They also discussed staffing at the jail.

"We don't have enough staff in the jail, and huge problem," said Clarence Cox.

"I'll put farmland in place, if you take care of your employees you take care of the whole county," said Terry Evans.

The men are proceeding for sheriff to fill the remainder of Victor Hill's term.

Last fall, a federal jury censured Hill of violating the constitutional rights of detainees by strapping them into restraint chairs for hours at a time.

Chief Deputy Rolan Boehrer initially manufactured the interim sheriff, when he retired, LaVon Allen was visited interim sheriff.

Allen is also running for sheriff, but was not at the forum.

The special electioneer is March 21.
