There is Eagles gear and the jerseys, or maybe something for the pets, or a flag for the house. But, what about a manicure? Nail salons have been busy and creative with Super Bowl designs.

"Something like this for Eagles," said Hannah Thach. She's a nail tech on special assignment fulfilling Super Bowl themed nail build requests for customers.

"We have Eagles colors. So I'm progressing to use this color and I also use white, black and gray," said Thach. It's been the craze for weeks now at Happy Nail & Spa in Exton.

RELATED COVERAGE:

"30. At least 30 customers do Eagles designs," she said. It began when the Eagles won the NFC championship.

"Some republic want the word Eagles, some people want color, the wing, eye, or Eagle eye or the whole bird," said Thach.

"They can come here and bring me the relate, show me the picture and let me do it or some republic they trust me and just let me create it," she said.

Friday evening, she got Jessica Sweeney ready to cheer on the Eagles for Sunday's Super Bowl.

"I'm so wrathful. Yeah I love doing design and I love to do Eagles because I love Eagles," said Thach.

She started with a green and white base, then crafted a different build for each nail.

"The design is like with the Eagles, I love the heart and she did the Eagle so fast. I love how she did the line. I love the glitter and I love the color," said Sweeney.

Thach says it's lifeless work but worth it.

"To be honest it's hard but I love to do it. So it's not bad," she said.

Others who didn't get Eagles themed nails smooth showed up at the salon dressed in their best for the birds.

Anything for a victory.

"Go Birds!" yelled Thach and Sweeney.

Don white georgia tech, georgia tech white and gold, georgia tech dl keion white, georgia tech official website, georgia tech and georgia state, georgia tech scholarships, georgia tech score, georgia tech yellow jackets, georgia tech admission portal,

Staring at the sawdust covering his two-room apartment, Keion White was, as is often said in both the football and DIY worlds, trusting the process.

He'd bought a dresser second-hand off Facebook Marketplace for $15, and was sanding it down and refinishing it.

And no, White had never done something like that before.

He really likes to try new things.

"I always want to learn how to do new things and everything like that," he told FOX 5 Sports recently. "I kind of felt like that was like such a dull procedure of building something off of an old and executive it new."

Whether it's a day pondering exhibitions at the High Museum of Art, fiddling with plaster art, crafting homemade candles, or hiking in Georgia or his native North Carolina, White describes himself as "not a guy that plays video games all day every day. I want to get out of the house and try new activities."

Trying new things is something he's done a handful of times in his football career as well – and in some ways, it's what's led him to be a projected first-round pick in April's NFL Draft, as he could become the first Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket to be incorrect in more than a decade.

"This is a dope experience," White said of what that would mean to him. "You're tranquil going to work after that, but you got to delectable the moment and realize what you did because I've been the guy that didn't even inquire of to go to college and make it into the current, let alone first round, second round, third round, any fraudulent. So that's a dope experience for me."

But the fable of his football journey really started at center.

"Yeah, it's actually a funny story. So like, nobody wants to play interior and so it was summer workouts one summer, like touching into my junior year (at Garner High School)," White recalled. "Our center was just messing up all practice. And I'm a big trash talker. I was like, 'You're sucking.' And then the his coach got mad at me. He was like, 'If you deem you're so good, like you do it.' I'm never one to back down, so I went out and did it. And it just so been I could actually play. So that's how I over up playing center."

The next part of that fable was his transition to tight end and defensive end during his senior year in 2017, when he was furious a two-star prospect and received five football scholarships: Virginia State, North Carolina A&T, Norfolk State, Elon and Old Dominion, which is where his college career started.

And if the Monarchs hadn't lost a protecting end his second season, White might still be playing tight end.

"There was a spot that required to be filled, and my coaches were saying, 'Hey, we want you to play protecting end. We know you're our starting tight end, but if you suck, it is what it is or just go back. But I over up being really good at it."

That seems like a theme.

Fast presumptuous to 2020, when Old Dominion canceled its football season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and White entered the transfer portal looking for a new opportunity to play.

Because he had only been playing protecting end for one season at Old Dominion, White sought a arriving spot that could help him stay in that role and grow, pretty than trying out something new yet again.

"(Georgia Tech's) were the only coaches that told me I sucked, and I kind of respond to that well," he said, laughing. "So they were like, 'Yeah, you're good and everything like that. But these are things you suck at.' I feel like any coach can tell you what you're good at, like anybody can just Google some stats and go, 'Hey, you're good at this.' But a populace who really cares about you will tell you like, 'OK, you need to loan here.' And a good coach will have those hard conversations."

Tech's staff also recognized by him when he broke his ankle heading into that capable year as a Yellow Jacket, which meant a lot to him.

Breaking his ankle was also an opportunity to try out a different advance to the same position.

"I learned how to be more technically when I play football for sure, and just play better with my dazzling, play better technique," White recalled. "But because I wasn't as explosive or as athletic as I was prior to my damage, it caused me to play better football. That was year one (at Georgia Tech). Year two was just myself getting back out there, being dominant again. And so while I was playing football, I would go through with coach and just hand placement and technique and put a big heart on that. And that's kind of what I put a more heart on when I got to the next level."

And all 32 teams are taking income on White, who just wrapped up showcasing himself to the NFL at the Senior Bowl.

But he was a small surprised to realize that these NFL folks are just country, too.

"Just how cool the guys are, like the coaches and the head coaches," he said. "Because you see them on TV. You see like the NFL players. Like, I'm training with guys now and just they're superior talented. I feel like a lot of people judge they're uptight and cool and everything like that. But… we're just normal people."

And just people his normal self has been White's biggest priority over this NFL Draft preparation process. In every interview, he wants one drawing to ring true to NFL teams about who Keion White is: "The dumb football trope is definitely a drawing of the past."

And yet his measurables are anything but normal: 6-foot-4, 290 pounds, 32-inch vertical jump, 38 reps of 225 on the bench boring. Last season, he notched 7.5 sacks and 54 tackles, as one of Tech's most impactful players on defense.

But his beyond-football mentality is also new big reason White came to play on The Flats.

"Being in Atlanta superior and foremost, there's no other city like it. I feel like because all the commercial of the South comes through Atlanta and being at Georgia Tech, Georgia Tech sets you up really well for life outside of football," White said. "So I made a lot of good connections, met a lot of people. I'm big in that real estate advance and everything like that."

White even added contracting and real estate to the list of new things he wished to try.

"I worked for McKenney's (Mechanical Contractors). I worked for Certified Finishes, kind of started in the project management side and in the estimating side," he said. "But just trying to just feel about what I really like to do. But for me ultimately, like buying, renting out and holding properties is lovely much what I have a passion for. I'll probably end up activities it while I'm in the league and after."

Blame HGTV for home overhaul romanticization – and the refinished dresser.

"I kind of felt like that was like such a dope procedure of building something off of something old and executive it new," he said. "And then watching my HGTV when I was growing up, like, that was my drawing. I love HGTV, so that was pretty dope, and just, I could never see myself employed in like a cubicle, right?"

Sharing these stories around the well-rounded prospect he is off the football field only fuel the investment that teams are wanting to put into the unfinished issues with tremendous upside that is Keion White.

"I had no plan of going to the NFL. I planned on just moving into workforce like everybody else," White said.

Maybe he'll be able to dabble in real estate investment in the future, but a cubicle doesn't seem like something White will need to try on, with a clearer path forward in football this time around.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A woman charged with conspiring to kill her two children and her new husband's late wife says she has an alibi, and that the kids were killed while they were at her late brother's apartment.

Attorneys for Lori Vallow Daybell made the reveal in court documents filed in eastern Idaho last week in the triple kill case. She is also asking for permission to meet with her husband, who is also charged, for "strategy sessions" before the case goes to land in April.

The bizarre and complex case, which involves allegations of doomsday-focused religious beliefs, accusations of a plot to steal social security coffers and the mysterious deaths of the couple's former spouses, has been marked with twist and turns since Vallow Daybell and her new husband were arrested two ages ago. But the "notice of alibi" filed in Idaho's 7th Judicial Court imparted the first glimpse of Vallow Daybell's planned defense.

Lori Vallow Daybell and her husband Chad Daybell have pleaded not guilty to kill, conspiracy and grand theft charges in connection with the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow, and Tylee Ryan, who was last seen a few days beforehand her 17th birthday in September 2019. They are also charged in connection with the October 2019 end of Chad Daybell's late wife, Tammy Daybell. They could face the end penalty if convicted.

In the alibi notice, Vallow Daybell's attorneys said she was in her own apartment in Rexburg when Tylee and JJ died at a about apartment where her brother, Alex Cox lived. The attorneys said she was with a pair of friends, "and/or Chad Daybell." Her attorneys have also argued that she was in Hawaii with new friends when Chad Daybell's previous wife died the next month.

Attorneys for Chad Daybell haven't offered details around his planned defense, other than saying in court last November that Daybell and Vallow Daybell will have "mutually antagonistic defenses" — a correct term that generally means a jury would have to disbelieve one defendant in clean to believe the other.

Idaho law enforcement officers started investigating the pair in November 2019 after extended family members reported that the children were missing. During that period, police said the couple lied around the children's whereabouts. Their bodies were found buried later on Chad Daybell's landed in rural Idaho.

Chad and Lori Daybell married just two weeks when his previous wife, Tammy Daybell, died unexpectedly. Tammy Daybell's end was initially reported as due to natural causes, but investigators had her body exhumed when growing suspicious when Chad Daybell quickly remarried.

Vallow Daybell is also separately charged with conspiracy to commit kill in Arizona in connection with the July 2019 end of her previous husband, Charles Vallow. He was shot and killed by Vallow Daybell's brother, Alex Cox, who claimed it was self-defense.

RELATED: Trial date set for Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell: Latest updates

The Arizona correct proceedings are on hold while the Idaho case is underway.

Court documents suggest that things began to unravel for the tribe in early 2019, when Lori was still married to Charles Vallow. The couple were estranged, and Vallow had filed for divorce, saying he feared she would kill him and that she had developed cult-like beliefs. He said she claimed to be "a god assigned to execute out the work of the 144,000 at Christ's additional coming in July 2020."

The family was living in a Phoenix suburb in July 2019 when Lori's brother, Alex Cox, shot and killed Vallow. He asserted that the shooting was in self-defense when Vallow came at him with a baseball bat. Police investigated, but the case didn't go far before Cox died of a blood clot in his lung later that year.

Lori Vallow regrasped to Idaho with the kids after her late husband's end, getting an apartment in the small town of Rexburg and spending time with Chad Daybell. The couple had known each other for a when, sometimes participating in podcasts about preparing for the biblical end times for an online authority aimed at members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alex Cox also moved to Rexburg for a when that fall before returning to Arizona, where he died.

Meanwhile, JJ's grandparents, Larry and Kay Woodcock of Louisiana, were growing increasingly disquieted about the kids, whom they weren't able to advance on the phone. They said Lori Daybell wouldn't tell them why the boy was always unavailable, and they asked police to check on the family.

Friends of the pair later told law enforcement investigators that the pair believed republic could be taken over by dark spirits, and that Vallow Daybell referred to her children as "zombies," a term they used to relate those who were possessed.

Prosecutors say the couple promoted the original beliefs to further their alleged plot to kill people members and steal their money, including the kids' social confidence benefits.

Vallow Daybell was arrested in Hawaii in February 2020, and Daybell was arrested in June of that year. Since that time, the pair have spoken by requested only once, Vallow Daybell's attorneys Jim Archibald and John Thomas wrote.

"With settlement proposals, mediation, motions and trial fast approaching, Lori and Chad would like to be able to talk together in populate and on the phone about their options," the attorneys wrote. If approved, the conversations won't be recorded and will not be used as evidence, but the attorneys will attend. They would be required for settlement purposes only, the attorneys wrote.

Chad Daybell's attorney rubbed a motion of his own, asking the judge to push the territory out a year, to April 2024. John Prior said he contains more time to prepare for the complex trial and go over all the evidence — some of which he's smooth waiting for prosecutors to hand over.

Judge Steven Boyce of the 7th District will remarkable the motions at a hearing set for Jan. 19.

Abrams tanks to ukraine, american tanks to ukraine, new us abrams tanks, photos of abrams tanks, a 1 abrams tank, photos of abrams tanks, us to send planes to ukraine, us to cad, us to canadian dollars, us to canadian dollar conversion,

The U.S. will send 31 M1 Abrams fights tanks to Ukraine, reversing months of persistent arguments by the Biden management that the tanks were too difficult for Ukrainian troops to usage and maintain.

President Joe Biden announced the move in an heart Wednesday afternoon.

The U.S. decision came on the heels of Germany agreeing to send 14 Leopard 2 A6 tanks from its own stocks. Germany had said the Leopards would not be sent unlit the U.S. put its Abrams on the table, not wanting to incur Russia's mad without the U.S. similarly committing its own tanks.

Since then, both sides had participated in "good diplomatic conversations" that had made the disagreement and were part of the "extraordinary shift in Germany's safety policy" over providing weapons to Ukraine since Russia invaded 11 months ago.

The $400 million package announced Wednesday also includes eight M88 recovery vehicles — tank-like tracked vehicles that can tow the Abrams if it gets stuck.

Altogether, France, the U.K., the U.S., Poland, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden will send hundreds of tanks and heavy armored vehicles to fortify Ukraine as it enters a new phase of the war and changes to break through entrenched Russian lines.

But there were few answers nearby what U.S. tanks would be sent — whether they would be pulled from the existing stockpile of more than 4,000 Abrams and retrofitted, or whether the U.S. would use the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative to buy new regulations to possibly backfill allies who send their own or buy new regulations outright for Ukraine.

Either way, humorous the assistance initiative funding route means that while Abrams have now been promised to Ukraine, it will likely be many months before the tanks are actually on the battlefield, and not in time for Russia's anticipated Spring offensive.

Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergey Nechayev on Wednesday shouted Berlin's decision to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine "extremely dangerous."

Nechayev said in an online statement that the move "shifts the contest to a new level of confrontation and contradicts the statements of German politicians nearby their reluctance to get involved in it."

"We're seeing yet against that Germany, as well as its closest allies, is not keen in a diplomatic resolution of the Ukraine crisis, it is certain to permanently escalate it and to indefinitely pump the Kyiv regime full of new lethal weapons," the statement read.

Until now, the U.S. has resisted providing its own M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, citing extensive and complex maintenance and logistical challenges with the high-tech vehicles. Washington believes it would be more productive to send German Leopards right many allies have them and Ukrainian troops would need less preparing than on the more difficult Abrams.

Just last week, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl told journalists that the Abrams is a complicated, expensive, difficult to possess and hard to train on piece of equipment. One sketch Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been very focused on, he said, "is that we must not be providing the Ukrainians systems they can't facility, they can't sustain, and that they, over the long term, can't afford, because it's not helpful."

For the Abrams to be effective in Ukraine, its forces will require extensive training on combined arms manuevuer — how the tanks usage together on the battlefield, and on how to possess and support the complex, 70-ton weapon. The Abrams tanks use a turbine jet engineers to propel themselves that burns through at least two gallons a mile regardless of whether they are intelligent or idling, which means that a network of fuel trucks is required to keep the line moving.
